We went to PoK-e-Jo's for a food tasting for our upcoming wedding. The food and service were amazing! We worked with Mona, her customer service was incredible! Extremely professional, communication was great, and she was very pleasant to work with both via email and in person!

We tried a bunch of stuff, like chips, salsa, guacamole, queso, pineapple salsa, and black bean salsa. All of it was really good. We also had the grilled cheese (both the basic and the brisket version), which were both great.

For the meats, we had chicken, brisket, ribs, sausage, and turkey. My favorites were the ribs, brisket, and sausage.

We also tried all the sides! The best were the potato salad and mac and cheese.

I highly recommend this place!

The brisket was tender and the portion size was good, but I found everything I ate -- brisket, green beans, and mac and cheese -- bland. Also, the sweet tea was watered down. I estimate that I paid maybe 10% less here than I would have paid at a non-chain bbq place in the area for the food I got, but the value was A LOT lower. My experience was ok, but I'd rather pay a tiny bit more for much better food.

Tried this tonight with a couple of friends for an upcoming wedding. We sampled 0.5 lb of everything and it was all delicious! The staff and management were super friendly and awesome and got a big deal because of how much we ordered. And most BBQ places have one item that is over the top, but this place everything was just great!

10/10 you have to come here for BBQ and will be using for our wedding catering!

Pase rapidito a cenar un brisket, salchicha ahumada y costillas de cerdo. Ya no alcancé Mac and cheese, así que pedí puré de papa y unos ejotes preparados. Agradable y buen Sazón, aunado a un servicio rápido y a buen precio.
Recomendable y limpio!!

I ate here for the first time last night, which will be my last. I went inside to get take out & ordered a 1 meat rib plate with broccoli salad and fries. I never got my fries & turns out the broccoli salad is just raw vegetables with some vinaigrette. The flavor on the ribs wasn’t bad, but they were insanely fatty. The fat should’ve been rendered a lot more while cooking. I got nauseous after eating 2 ribs. I would not recommend this place at all.

Today's lunch spot: PoK-e-Jo's! I usually get the two meat plate with brisket that comes with two sides and a Texas toast; this time, I selected pork ribs as my 2nd meat, green beans casserole and broccoli with cheese. As usual, the meat was tender and delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly. While dining, I also got the chance to compare the interior decoration of this location with other PoK-e-Jo's... I got to admit the ceiling was definitely very Texan. ?
A great place to dine with a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Food was great, staff were super nice. Atmosphere a little rustic for my tastes, but hey, it's a BBQ joint.

Price felt a bit high ($30+ with tip for lunch, included a beer) but all BBQ is high now.

Would definitely recommend.
