I wish I could leave 6/5 stars because Clint's persistence literally saved us thousands of dollars. The mortise lock on our front door broke, which quickly spiraled into a nightmare because the door was imported from overseas and original manufacturer had gone out of business. The first locksmith we contacted told us we'd have to replace the entire door and frame since it was all metal, which we got quotes for $5-8k.

We called Key of E, hoping they'd have other ideas. Clint identified the exact problem with the lock (the previous guy wouldn't say more than "it's just broken"). and went through a lot of options with us. With his help, we were able to find a similar replacement lock from another overseas manufacturer, and he got it installed and working smoothly, no fuss, for less than $200.

He's the exact kind of contractor you wish was the norm--friendly, helpful, and determined to get the job done well. We're so grateful!

I had a good experience using this service. Emmitt was very courteous and respectful. He was able to unlock a bedroom and replace the hardware with another from a different room so that the issue would not happen again.

I accidentally locked my keys in my car so I called Advanced Locksmith. He then transferred me to Key of E, which far exceeded my expectations. Clint was very friendly and polite and got me into my car in under 5 minutes. I would recommend Key of E to anyone that experiences a lockout! Great service for an extremely reasonable price!

I had an unusual situation with a car that’s rare and Clint, the owner of Key of E, was amazing (and quick to arrive). He unlocked my 2013 MINI, which wouldn’t open so I couldn’t get to the dead battery. The key fobs didn’t work, and the manual back-up key also wouldn’t work. Clint not only opened the car without even a smudge, he also jumpstarted my car! Great service all around.

Clint was amazing, he came to my rescue within 10-15 minutes of me calling him. He was kind, patient, personable and very sweet. He did everything to help me with my insane problem.
