After years of research and waiting to get solar panels I finally decided to get them, and used Andy Montavon and Sun Run. Andy is a great salesman. He is very knowledgeable, really listened to me and understood what I needed. Andy and his team made the entire process from beginning to end extremely easy (Sun Run basically does everything for you). They designed a system that fully replaces my electrical use, leased the panels so I didn’t pay anything up front, and did a great job installing them. I just had my house inspected for the 1 year warranty and was told that the panel’s connections to the roof were sealed perfectly (which I was also told doesn’t happen all the time) so I don’t have to worry about the roof leaking. Since the system was installed I received two bills and I am saving money. It has also produced more kWh then I used, so I now have extra kWh in my account with the electric company. 100% recommend Andy and Sun Run.

Disappointed with Sunrun's Service

I chose Sunrun for solar panel installation, expecting high-quality service and a smooth process, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. Here are the key issues I encountered

Installation was delayed by severalminths with little communication about the reason.

The customer service team was difficult to reach, and responses were slow and unhelpful.

The system has not been performing as promised, and there has been no follow-up to resolve the problem.

This experience has been frustrating. I recommend potential customers carefully review the terms and ask detailed questions before proceeding with Contracts.

I regret choosing Freedom Forever for my solar panel installation, mainly due to my experience with their sales associate, Julio. From the start, Julio made several promises about the installation timeline and system performance that were not kept. Unfortunately, once the contract was signed, his availability became non-existent.

Attempts to contact Julio for follow-ups or clarifications have gone unanswered, leaving me to deal with delays and unanswered questions about the process. This lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable, especially when making such a significant investment.

I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company and their representatives. Ensure all promises are in writing and that communication channels are clear before proceeding.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Tony, a solar representative for Sunrun who truly went above and beyond. Tony was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to thoroughly explain the ins and outs of solar energy. He was very informative and taught me a lot about how solar works and its benefits.

What stood out the most was Tony’s dedication to helping me find additional ways to make my home more efficient. Even though I decided to wait on getting solar at this time, I am genuinely grateful for Tony’s assistance and the valuable information he provided. Meeting him was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend his services to anyone considering solar energy.

Absolutely the worst Solar Company on the planet. It hasn't worked since they installed it my electric bill last month was over $200 and this month it's estimated to be almost $600 from Florida Power & Light. Nobody will answer your calls when you try to call for service it goes directly to the call center and you can hear the people talking in the background there's nobody in the office that will talk to you. This has been the worst experience of my life. Now I want to sell the house just to get rid of the solar. Do not do business with this company you will regret it from the day you do. They promised I would have a extremely small electric bill now I'm paying their $150 solar LEASE PAYMENT a month plus a full electric bill every month. STAY CLEAR!!

DON’T DO IT!!

One of the door to door salesmen from Sunrun’s subcontractor companies came to my door offering solar, saying they could completely eliminate my power bill with a few panels. It sounded too good to be true, so I did all the research a responsible homeowner should - I read reviews, read the contract line for line, checked the BBB, everything. It all checked out, so I signed.

I still have a $100+ power bill and trying to get answers and a solution out of someone at Sunrun is impossible. I’ve been trying for months and I’m over it. Do yourself a favor and just don’t do it, don’t put yourself through the stress and bullshit for a promise you’ll never receive.

DO NOT GET solar through Sunrun! They are super helpful while installing on your roof, but the moment you need any actual real help they disappear. I have been stuck trying to get my roof fixed since July 10th. Its now October and I am no closer then my initial call.
